A security officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of a designated area, property, or individuals. This role involves monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting regular patrols, responding to alarms or incidents, and enforcing security protocols. Additionally, security officers may need to interact with visitors, employees, and clients, while maintaining a professional and authoritative demeanor. Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Depending on the specific job, additional duties such as writing reports, assisting with emergency situations, and providing customer service might be required.
Inspect and patrol premises regularly.
Monitor property entrance.
Authorize entrance of people and vehicles.
Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings.
Secure all exits, doors and windows.
Monitor surveillance cameras.
Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner.
Provide assistance to people in need.
Submit reports of daily surveillance activity.
Submit reports of every suspicious action.
High School Diploma (Preferred)
Must be 18 years or older.
Must have TRN, NIS, National ID, Birth Certificate, Police Record.
Must have 2 recommendations (Pastor, JP, Police, Etc)
Training Certificate (if any)
